漫长的等待后，Firefox 3终于来了。虽然发布当天的下载就超过了800万（目前已经超过了一千万），可是感觉这个大版本号的改动并没有带来多少惊喜。内存占用该大还是大，该crash的时候还是crash。
可能地址栏的改进是这个新版本的最大亮点吧，我初次见到的时候就这样想，而且很期待。但是实际开始用的时候，却发现这种与2.0版本的完全不同的体验，很难适应。
一种办法是适应。在地址栏输入后，提示的项目、顺序都和原来不一样了。这相当于原来的单纯的url提示加上历史搜索。而且匹配也是从任意位置开始。
另一种办法是反抗，可惜about:config中似乎没有提供足够灵活的配置将地址栏变成和2.0版本一样的行为方式，不过oldbar这个扩展就是解决这个问题的。
我不太了解Firefox 3到底有哪些实质性的改进，不过总体上感觉Firefox 3和IE 7有点类似。IE 7把本来就已经很难用的IE弄得更难用了。

I found out that you wrote a Paged Threaded Comments plugin some time ago. I think if we improve it to make it with nested comments better, that would be good for general WordPress user. Things to consider include making it faster so that it can deal with large number of comments. For example, some WordPress blogs have thousands of comments per post.
Do you have updated version available?
I’d like to take a look if you do, so that we can improve it together.

那个提示功能确实挺没有意思的，因为我打网址一般都打很短或者很熟的，剩下全部用书签，那个提示根本没有用。
不过样式像IE，我倒是很喜欢，因为我平时就一直用IE，现在Firefox做得很像IE，使得我可以使用Firefox的时候完全不感到陌生，迅速习惯了使用firefox。
